About Me

who I am

	I am a freelance writer in New York City. I love hats, typography, and animals (although i discriminate against mice). I hope to learn all the languages in the world one day, just as I hope to protect whales and books from going extinct.

What I do

I write about art, culture, and people. My work has appeared in BlackBook Magazine, Photo-eye Magazine, the New York Art Beat, Bomb Magazine,Marie Claire, 4x Magazine, and The Photo Review. I have recently embarked on a series of articles about Fine Art Photography. I have interviewed a number of wonderful photographers, including Sally Mann, Chuck Close, Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, Gregory Crewdson, Stephen Shore, Mark Seliger, and Joel Meyerowitz.
